We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Gastroenterology Physician to join our healthcare team. Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat disorders of the digestive system.
Perform diagnostic tests such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Educate patients about lifestyle changes and preventive measures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in gastroenterology.
Participate in continuing medical education and professional development.
Provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
Communicate complex medical information to patients and their families.
Manage and treat chronic conditions such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Perform minor surgical procedures related to the digestive system.
Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Participate in clinical research and trials if applicable.
Provide emergency care for acute gastrointestinal conditions.
Consult with other specialists as needed for comprehensive patient care.
Advise on dietary and nutritional needs for digestive health.
Support and mentor junior medical staff and trainees.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency - Required
Active IA License or IMLC - Required
ACLS - Required
Provider must be willing/able to work outpatient - Required
Willingness to work some inpatient shifts - highly preferred.
EGD, Colonoscopy - Required,
ERCP & EUS - highly preferred
COVID Vaccine - Required
Clean Malpractice/Background - Strongly Preferred
Working Hours
Monday-Friday, 8a-4p
No weekends, no call
