Job Title: Physician - Gastroenterology

Join a thriving gastroenterology practice located in Covington, Georgia—just 25 minutes from downtown Atlanta and near the picturesque Lake Oconee! This well-established facility is part of a network dedicated to providing compassionate and cutting-edge digestive health care. With a team of over 200 providers and a commitment to clinical excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to advance your career while making a meaningful impact on patient health within a supportive community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cover multiple medical offices including Conyers, Covington, and Oconee.
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 15-18 per day.
  • Provide comprehensive services including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, and more.
  • Participate in a 1:4 hospital call schedule.
  • Collaborate with a practice consisting of 3 MD/DOs and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Follow a Monday to Friday work schedule.
  • Contribute to clinical autonomy while prioritizing patient care.
  • Embrace opportunities for growth with a clear pathway to partnership.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Active Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Clean malpractice history preferred.
  • DEA certification must be obtained prior to start.
  • Accepting new graduate candidates through 2025.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Georgia medical license (or willing to obtain).
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine (required).
  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology (required).
  • DEA certification (must be obtained before starting).
