- Clinical Role:
- Will consider candidates who are Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within a year). Board Certified in Gastroenterology with 5-8 years of GI work experience (not including residency/fellowship) is preferred
- Position includes inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic
- 1:6 call ratio, including some weekends
- Reason for coverage is growth and one replacement hire
- Average number of patients per day: Clinic is covered one day/week with APP support in-house and in the clinic
- Locally, a team of APP’s provide support both in clinic as well as in the hospital
- Trauma Level II
- A hospital-owned endoscopy center and outpatient clinic on the hospital campus allow for easy access to your patients in any location
- Teaching opportunities are available through our GME program for those interested in academic involvement
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments
- Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues
- ITIL and or other industry certification is preferred
- PMP is preferred
- Proximity to several larger cities adds to the desire for physicians. Ann Arbor and Lansing are both within thirty-five minutes from the hospital campus and Detroit is just over an hour’s drive
- Incumbents may be asked to perform job-related duties beyond those explicitly described
- Not open to Locum and/or Locum to Perm candidates
- Not open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certification(s) and need to obtain them again

- Not open to providers who want to commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)

- Conditions of Employment:
