Job Description:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) to join the team on a locum tenens basis for coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Gastroenterology Care: Provide inpatient care for patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions, including diagnostics, treatment, and procedural interventions.
• Call Coverage: Required to provide 24-hour call coverage (7 a.m. to 7 a.m.) as needed.
• Flexible Workload: The physician’s patient load will be variable, depending on the clinical needs at the time.
• Up-to-date CDS/DEA: Must maintain an up-to-date Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification for prescribing.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Active MD or DO licensure in the state of Wyoming.
• Experience: Strong background in inpatient gastroenterology and procedures.
• Call Coverage Requirement: Ability to commit to on-call duties (7 a.m. to 7 a.m. shifts).
• Certifications: Must hold up-to-date CDS and DEA certifications.
