Job Overview:

Requirements:

  • Credentials: DO or MD, Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years
  • Licensure: Pennsylvania state license (IMLC accepted)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS
  • ERCP: Preferred
  • DEA: Required

Responsibilities:

  • Coverage: Hospital call, consults, procedures, and rounding
  • Call: 24-hour call, 5-10 admissions daily, rounding required (1-2 hours/day)
  • Work Solo: Yes
  • Patient Mix: 100% adult, no paediatric cases
  • Procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP (preferred), PEGs
  • Support: Midlevel APP for inpatient services, consults, and rounding

  • Shifts: Minimum 7 days/month required
  • Travel: Mileage, airfare, lodging, rental car, and fuel covered

Additional Information:

  • EMR: Epic
  • Privileges: Full privileges (60 days to credential)
  • Anaesthesiologist support: On staff for sedation
