Position Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in gastroenterology, including diagnosing, treating, and managing conditions of the digestive system.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents, contributing to the future of VA healthcare.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited gastroenterology fellowship.
- Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
- Board certified or board eligible in gastroenterology.
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and continuous improvement.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to compassionate service.

Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
The expected salary range - $330,000 to $400,000.
May include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus
Candidates may be eligible for a Sign-on Bonus
**Tax Free - May be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program and, if approved, receive up to $200k in school loan repayment Tax Free.

Paid Time Off: 50–55 days of annual paid time offer per year Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and a federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement
Malpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage provided
Contract: No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restrictions on moonlighting
