We are currently recruiting for a full-time Gastroenterologist who possesses diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound skills in the management of patients with G.I. diseases, including FNA cytology and biopsy, drainage of pancreatic cyst and bile duct obstruction, and expertise in cancer management including staging of esophageal and rectal cancer. You will provide outpatient and inpatient consultations to evaluate patients with G.I. diseases, including sharing on-call service. You’ll also perform routine diagnostic, therapeutic upper endoscopy, and colonoscopy. You’ll provide routine care including health maintenance as well as diagnostic/therapeutic service for patients with acute conditions including pancreaticobiliary diseases and patients admitted with acute cholangitis, obstructive jaundice, and other significant G.I. issues.

Candidates must: 1) be a U.S. citizen (Non-citizens may be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens 2) possess a current, full, unrestricted medical license in any state, and 3) board eligible or certified in Internal or Family Medicine, and board eligible/certified in Gastroenterology 4) and confirm vaccination for seasonal influenza and Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), which are both requirements for all Health Care Personnel (HCP) employed by Department of Veterans Affairs. Preferred experience: Board-certified in Gastroenterology
Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
