General Gastroenterology opening in MN Location: Duluth, MN 150 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul Full-time, Permanent position Practice Details: - Seeking BE/BC general Gastroenterologists for a planned expansion within our Gastroenterology section. - Serve a 357-bed tertiary referral center with opportunities for outreach into surrounding communities. - Facility features an outpatient endoscopy unit and side-by-side clinic with state-of-the-art 8 endoscopy suites and a motility lab. - IM hospitalist service manages all GI admissions, functioning as a consultative service. - Eight NPs/PAs support outpatient management of IBS, IBD, and liver disease, as well as the inpatient GI consultation service. - Position accommodates subspecialty interests and offers a 1:8 call schedule. ERCP and EUS experience not required. - Current group includes eleven physicians: nine general and two therapeutic endoscopy Gastroenterologists in a 100% consultative practice. - Compensation includes a guaranteed base salary with incentives for production for the duration of employment, not an RVU-based model, with no buy-ins. - State-of-the-art Digestive Health Center performing a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures. - All GI hospital admissions are managed by the IM hospitalist service. - Affiliation with the local medical school offering teaching, research, and outreach opportunities. - Enjoy excellent school districts, the ability to live in an urban or rural environment, and be minutes from work. Requirements: - Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
