Regional Hospital, a 295-bed regional facility, is seeking BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join a hospital employed group in Somerset, Kentucky
The ideal candidate will provide care to patients in the office as well as surgery centers and hospital
The incoming physician will join three existing Gastroenterologists serving a population of 250,000
Health facility has an established GI Hospitalist service to handle daily inpatient consults, a dedicated endoscopy room for scopes to be performed in the hospital, and an outpatient surgery center, located on the hospital campus with convenient block scheduling for surgeons
The surgery center is a joint venture with the hospital and provides opportunities for surgeons to purchase stock shares
In addition to taking care of the GI needs in the community, the ideal candidate will participate in Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs by precepting residents and students on GI rotations
