Requirements
Minimum Board Certification: Certified or Board Eligible (with exam date scheduled within 12-18 months)
License Requirement: None
The Following Certifications Are Required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days

Skills Required
Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, varices injection)
ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic)
PEG insertion
Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
Small bowel biopsy
Lower GI endoscopy (sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision)
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
Liver biopsy
Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Additional Information
ERCP experience preferred.
Two weeks per month (Mon-Fri)
Call rotation: one week per month, weekdays, and weekends.
GI lab: 3 days per week with 18-20 procedures per day.
Clinic: 2 days per week with 18-20 visits per day.
Full clinic support including APP, RN, MA, and inpatient APP support.
