Clinical Details

• Outpatient

• Patients per shift: 3
• Beds in department: 5
• Rounding patients: assigned and unassigned
• Admission required
• Each week worked would have 1 to 2 days of seeing clinic patients, 3 -4 days of performing procedures-colonoscopies and EGD's, around 14-18 patients each day, 1 day of 24 hour call

Requirements

• Board Certified
• Active WI License or IMLC
• Fellowship - Preferred
• BLS
• Required Skills: Upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices), Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy (flexible, rigid), Colonoscopy (with biopsy, excision of polyp)
• Preferred Skills: Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Esophageal manometry interpretation, EUS, Liver biopsy, Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
