Planet Healthcare is hiring Locums Gastroenterologist for 4 days a week and no call in Portland, ME area.
Details:
- Practice Setting: Endoscopy suite, office
- Dates of Coverage: Starting 1/1/25
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7a-5p
- NO CALL
- Clinical Areas: Adult, Office/Clinic, Gastro, Endoscopy, Hospital
- Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine be Required: Yes
- Patients Per Day: 12-14
- 10-12 procedures
- EMR: EPIC
Required Procedures:
- Small Bowel Biopsy
- Lower GI Endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube
Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy:
- with Biopsy
- with Foreign Body Removal
- with Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery vs. Laser)
- with Injection of Varices
- with Banding of Varices
- Diagnostic
- Therapeutic
- with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)
