We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide exceptional care in West Valley City, UT. This position requires 24-hour call coverage at two sites, with shifts running from 7am to 7am, seven shifts per month. The role involves a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and call duties in a Trauma Level III facility.
The responsibilities for this position include working a schedule of 7am to 7am for seven shifts per month, covering 24-hour call duties at two different sites. The setting encompasses outpatient, inpatient, and call responsibilities, with duties including performing EGD and EVS procedures. You will be using EPIC for all electronic medical records and working with a skilled support staff that includes medical assistants, registered nurses, echo technicians, lab technicians, nuclear technicians, and X-ray technicians.
Requirements:
- Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of a Gastroenterology Fellowship is required.
- Must hold an active Utah medical license.
- Active DEA registration is required.
- Must have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
