- $380,000 to $450,000 Starting Base Salary, dependent upon experience

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new GI endoscopic specialist will provide outpatient care to patients within the scope of their specialty and training.
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- diagnosing and treating acute illnesses in the area of gastroenterology
- diagnosing and treating chronic diseases and conditions in the area of gastroenterology
- performing endoscopies to diagnose GI disorders
- prescribing or administering medications, therapy, and other specialized medical care
- explaining procedures and discussing test results or prescribed treatments with patients
- monitoring patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluating treatments when necessary
- providing health and wellness advice to patients
- referring patients to other medical specialists as needed
- participating in provider meetings and training sessions
Physicians are fully supported by trained clinical and administrative team members in all settings.
The practice uses the MDLand EHR.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
- Board Certification or Eligibility, Gastroenterology
- must speak Mandarin or Cantonese fluently
