A General Gastroenterologist is sought to provide ongoing/full-time locums coverage in the suburbs of Salt Lake City, UT. Temp privileges are availble!

Schedule/Availability Requirements:
  • Monday-Thursday - 8:30a-4:30p
Details:
  • Monday-Thursday - Clinic/procedure coverage - 8a-4:30p
  • 20-25 days per month are needed
  • Setting: Outpatient, Clinic
  • Schedule: Blocked OR time M, W, Th 0730- 12 then is in clinic for OP consults/ follow up appts.
  • Volume: 8-14 scheduled procedures per clinic day.
  • Duties: EGD, EVS, General GI cases.
  • ERCP OK, but not required. Only do a few per month.
  • Required Procedures: General GI cases
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Support Staff: MA, RN, Echo Tech, Lab Tech, Nuclear Tech, X-ray Tech

Qualifications

-Board Certified Gastroenterology
-Active UT license – Highly Preferred
-Active BLS
-Active DEA - REQUIRED for credentialing (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
-Site would like all candidates to advise if they can perform ERCP. It is not a requirement to work, but a requirement to note.
-Must be able to provide start date and number of shifts per month available
-EMR Training Requirements include:
Module (learn lessons) – Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
EMR Virtual training & Onsite training – Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual EMR training is schedule before the providers first day. If onsite training is required, it is typically looped into the morning of their first day.

-Clean Malpractice - Highly Preferred, site will put providers with clean MP/background in Tier 1.
-Must include self-inquiry NPDB report to be considered for this need
