JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical center in Indiana seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterology hospitalist to join a well-established team. New fellows are welcome! Incoming physician will enjoy competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Position details:
Monday through Friday schedule with dedicated hours.
Weekend/Night 1:4 call
Bread & Butter GI cases, ERCP/EUC not required
Hospital - 2 endoscopy suites and 1 advanced endoscopy suite
Collaborate with Top Notch ER Physicians and Hospitalists
Subspecialty support including a closed ICU with Intensivists
Advanced Gastroenterology procedures in group

A full continuum of specialized services are available, and we host a team of experienced caregivers in the family-centered Women and Children’s Pavilion. We have the longest-running NICU in northwest Indiana onsite, admitting infants of any gestation and weight. C-sections are performed in the delivery unit for convenience and safety of patients. Skin-to-skin delivery is offered in the C-Section suite.
Our inpatient and ambulatory programs are accredited by Joint Commission and continue to be recognized nationally in multiple areas including award winning centers of excellence by American Heart Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and the Leapfrog Group on quality and clinical safety practices; HealthGrades, the Society of Chest Pain Centers, and most recently, became the first in Indiana to receive full Atrial Fibrillation with Electrophysiology Services Accreditation status from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC), an Institute of the American College of Cardiology.
