Duties:

• General Gastroenterology Inpatient and Outpatient Services
• Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy with biopsy, cautery
• EMR: Epic
• Patients per Day: 20 outpatient, 4-10 inpatient

Support Staff:

• MA/LVN
• Office Assistant
• Practice Manager

Reason for Coverage: Current GI provider on FMLA

Additional Information:

• Outpatient clinic hours: 7 AM – 6 PM, Monday to Thursday
• Typical Schedule: Scopes starting at 7:30 AM, clinic from 2 PM to 4 PM (Mon/Tue/Wed), and 9:30 AM to 4 PM (Thursday)
• No clinic on Fridays; Scopes at SWV on Fridays from 7:30 AM or 8 AM until early afternoon
• Inpatient responsibilities vary; primarily after on-call shifts
• APP support Monday to Friday, not for weekend rounding
• Weekend rounding typically involves hospital call or weekend clinic coverage
