LOCATION:
Fishkill, New York
COMPANY PROFILE:
This private practice has been serving patients in the Hudson Valley since the 1990s and, today, employs five talented gastroenterologists. The medical team is supported by dedicated on-site clinical and administrative support staff. They operate multiple clinic locations in the greater area, along with a free-standing endoscopy center that is AAAHC certified and fully licensed. They are currently hiring due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new gastroenterologist will see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, with the support of a dedicated clinical assistant. The physician will see patients in the Fishkill outpatient clinic, with access to a nearby free-standing endoscopy center.
This is a standard GI position and the duties include, but are not limited to:
- general outpatient GI care
- evaluation and management of a patient panel
- ordering and reviewing diagnostic tests
The services of the practice include, but are not limited to:
- colon cancer screening
- endoscopic ultrasound
- fibroscan
- capsule endoscopy
- colonoscopy
- endoscopy
The practice uses an EHR.
This position involves no evenings, weekends, on-call, or rounding, providing excellent work/life balance.
The endoscopy center typically opens at 7:30am, closing when procedures are finished. The office is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm. The exact schedule for the new physician is negotiable.
REQUIREMENTS:
- New York medical license
- DEA
