VHS is seeking to employ a full-time Gastroenterology physician to join a thriving practice of one physician and one nurse practitioner. No advanced procedures required. Flexible schedule for work/life balance.
Hospital is a 131 bed hospital servicing 200,000+ area residents. Hospital is underway with a $90M expansion project.

Referral base of 30+ local primary care physicians and mid-levels. Requires 10 days of paid call coverage per month, mostly inpatient consults and some phone calls. 32 days of paid time off annually and 5 CME days. Includes comprehensive benefit package with medical, dental, retirement, flexible spending and long-term disability. Commitment incentive, student loan forgiveness and relocation expense reimbursement compensations available.

Minimum Requirements
  • Educational and/or Professional Qualifications: Must maintain an unrestricted right and license to practice medical services in the State of Louisiana. Must have completed related medical residency program.
  • Required Board Certification, Registration, License: State of Louisiana
