Coverage Needed
- Specific shifts - Must be available for these dates
- Sept 9 7am to Sept 15th 7am
- Sept 23 7am to Sept 26th 7am
- Sept 30th 7am to Oct 7th 7am
- Oct 21 7am to Oct 28 7am
- Nov 4 7am to Nov 15 7am
- Nov 25 7am to Dec 9 7am
- Provider must have ongoing availability for two weeks a month
Schedule
- 24 Hour Call
- 7a - 7p
- 8 hours of hospital coverage on-site
- 8a - 4:30p
- 16 hours unrestricted call, may need to come into the hospital while on call - typically 1 in 7 nights while on call
- 1:4 call ratio
Clinical Details
- Hospital-based
- Onsite Lab, X-ray
- Trauma Level 1 Facility
- 20-22 Patient encounters per day
- 5 Follow ups
- 10-12 New patients
- 2-4 Procedures
- Surgical cases per day: 2-4
Requirements
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible
- need to be boarded within 5 years of training
- Active MI License - required - no exceptions
- Covid vaccine - Required and needs to be noted at time of submission
- DEA - Verbal confirmation required at name clear
- Clean malpractice and background - required, no exceptions
- Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: Diagnostic, Therapeutic with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal
- Orientation has to be half the hourly rate. They have to do an epic training before starting, and they have to have a physical and 5 panel drug screen that’s not reimbursable.
