We are hiring a locum Gastroenterologist for 3 month coverage in Northern Michigan!

Job Details:

• Shift: Monday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM: 24-hour call
• Dates of coverage: As soon as credentialing is complete
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Site will only consider providers with full availability of the dates needed and not partial
  
• Patients per day: 10-15. Typically 9-13 procedures done at Endoscopy In clinic – consults are scheduled either for 45 min or 60 and follow ups are 30 min
• Special procedures: ERCP and EUS preferred
• Skills required: Review all of their pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow up recommendations. Hospital/procedures + call, EGD, Colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement
• EMR: Cerner

Job Requirements:

• Board Certification
• MI state license
• ACLS and BLS
• DEA
  
• 2 yrs+ Gastroenterology experience
• Clean background with no malpractice
