We are seeking a Locums Gastroenterologist Physician to provide supplemental coverage for GI call, inpatient consults, emergency department consultations, and scheduled procedures at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Lansing, MI. The role requires coverage for nights with on-call duties and 15 days per month of inpatient consults. This position is hospital-based and entails performing colonoscopies, endoscopic ultrasounds (EUS), and various types of upper GI endoscopies including diagnostic, therapeutic with biopsy, and foreign body removal. The call ratio is 1:4, averaging 8-hour shifts in the hospital.

Qualifications:

· Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

· Active Michigan medical license

· COVID-19 vaccine
