Medstaff is assisting with Gastroenterology coverage for a client located in Urbana, IL.

• Looking for a Gastroenterology physician who is Board Certified, or ready to sit for the boards, with an IL license, CSR, DEA and recent GI moderate sedation experience
• 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, no call; 730am start for patients needing MAC blocks
• Outpatient clinic and GI procedure lab coverage for adult and geriatric patients
• 40% clinic with 30 minute consults intervals and 15-30 minute returns
• 60% GI procedure lab. Sedation is procedure sedation or separate MAC block for patient that meet MAC criteria
• Procedures: Outpatient Colonoscopy and EGD (GI Hospitalist will do inpatient procedures)
• ERCP and EUS skills would be great but not required
• EMR is EPIC
• Requires Proof of COVID Vaccine, BLS, ACLS and a clean background
• Credentialing will take about 60-90 days, looking for a 3+ month commitment
