Location: A city located in Illinois, on the Mississippi River, about 15 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri. St. Louis, Missouri, is a vibrant city known for its rich history, cultural attractions, and iconic landmarks!

Facility: GI outpatient office with GI labs located at hospital on same campus.

Opportunity:
  • Reason for Coverage: Maternity Leave for one of our providers
  • Schedule: No clinic schedule, all inpatient and and outpatient scheduled procedures. Three to four days a week, 7:30 to 2:30 pm rounding, PLUS call 7a-7p
    Call ratio - do not do by call ratio, one week at a time
  • Onsite Lab and E-Ray: Yes
  • Will outpatient GI and IM be required: Yes
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12-14
  • How Many Physicians in Your Group? 3; One is leaving on maternity leave March 16; one retiring at the end of April.
  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
  • Required Procedures: ERCP (preferred), Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Small Bowel Biopsy
  • Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy: Biopsy with Foreign Body Removal, with ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), Diagnostic, Therapeutic
  • Locum will need to follow up with their patients for any pathology needs/results.
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
