* This is permanent - not locums.
* You receive referrals from an extensive network as being the preferred GI team.
* The workload is mainly bread & butter GI.
* Have the latest Olympus radial and linear probes.
* 1:3 call - very light, not demanding.
* There is an academic affiliation if you have interest in teaching and/or research.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose patients with digestive and gastrointestinal diseases and disorders
Develop treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up care
Monitor the progress of patients and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies
Administer medications and treatments to patients
Educate patients and family members about the diagnosis and treatment process
Keep accurate and detailed patient medical records
Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications

Board certification in Gastroenterology
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

Monday through Friday
