New Gastroenterology Physician Locums Job in Georgia

Hospital is seeking a candidate(s) to cover a mix on inpatient and outpatient 4 weeks per month ongoing. They anticipate needing coverage for a year.

Details/Requirements for Assignment #102710
-Active Georgia license or active IMLC required
-Start date is ASAP-hospital has a Doctor retiring this Summer, and needs coverage
-Schedule: will see mix of inpatient/outpatient
-Monday and Wednesday will be in the hospital
-Tuesday, Thursday and Friday AM clinic
-Monday-Thursday you’re on call
-Calls are low. Mainly phone consults.
-ERCP preferred. EUS not required
-Will perform an average 10 consults and 12 procedures per day at the hospital
-Will see 25-32 patients per day in clinic based on complexity
-Scopes required: Gastroscopes, colonoscopies, enteroscopes, duodenoscopes
-Equipment: Olympus PS 190 series
-99 bed hospital
-Hospitalists admit all patients
-There is a Nurse Practitioner to support you
-Anesthesia available 24/7
-EMR Meditech
