A facility in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join their growing private practice. This partnership-track opportunity offers long-term stability and growth, driven by our Endoscopy Center expansion and a strategic succession plan.

Practice Overview


  • Private practice in Hickory, NC, serving a multi-county, 50-mile-wide region with a strong referral base
  • Team of 9 physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • On-site Endoscopy Center with 3 GI suites and Olympus 190 scopes
  • 11,000 colonoscopies and 3,500 EGDs performed annually


Schedule & Call


  • Monday-Friday clinic schedule with dedicated endoscopy days
  • Rotating hospitalist coverage with one dedicated week of inpatient duties
  • Call is 1:7 rotation
    • No rounding required during call hours
    • Dedicated APP support for hospitalist weeks


Procedures & Facilities


  • Bread-and-butter gastroenterology (colonoscopy, EGD, sigmoidoscopy)
    • EUS preferred, but not required
  • Block scheduling for efficiency and optimal workflow
    • 24/7 anesthesiology support and experienced GI tech teams


Compensation & Partnership


  • Annual base salary of $500,000+
  • Partnership eligibility with buy-in available
  • $25,000 sign-on bonus and up to $10,000 relocation assistance
  • Full medical, dental, vision, disability coverage, as well as a 401(k) profit-sharing plan
  • Malpractice coverage, PTO, CME time, and weekly administrative time
