There are several locations to choose from on Long Island and Queens.

Job Responsibilities
Performing endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies to examine the digestive tract and obtain biopsies if necessary.
Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging studies, and stool analyses to aid in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal conditions.
Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, which may include prescribing medications, recommending dietary modifications, and suggesting lifestyle changes.
Monitoring the progress of patients and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Providing education and counseling to patients regarding their condition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
Collaborating with other medical specialists, including surgeons, radiologists, and oncologists, to coordinate multidisciplinary care for complex cases.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of patient encounters.
Qualifications
Completion of a residency program in internal medicine.
Completion of a fellowship program in gastroenterology.
Board eligible or certification in gastroenterology.
Valid state medical license to practice as a gastroenterologist.
Continuous medical education and participation in professional development activities to stay updated with advancements in the field.
Strong commitment to patient care and quality improvement initiatives.

Tuesday 8am to 5pm
Wednesday 8am to 5pm
Thursday 8am to 5pm
Friday 8am to 5pm
Skills
Proficiency in performing endoscopic procedures and interpreting endoscopic findings.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
