Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist who is interested in building a GI practice. Our ideal candidate would have clinical interests in all aspects of gastroenterology. Advanced endoscopy procedures such as ERCP would be welcome. This exciting opportunity would allow you to be an integral part of the expansion of our highly diverse and successful medical staff.
We have recently completed a 100,000 square foot expansion to our hospital that includes flexible clinics, procedure suites, centralized imaging facilities, an updated pharmacy and a new food service area, including a Starbucks, and we are looking to add a Gastroenterologist to our team.

The area is in an underserved area and we do accept J1 and H1B applicants. We are also located in the Delta Regional Authority which has no limit on J1 waivers and there is no waiver application deadline.
About the Facility:
Join an accredited regional referral facility, servicing approximately 180,000 population in a nine-county area in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas. Over 100 active physicians are on the medical staff comprised of half primary care and half specialists. A number of services not normally found in rural areas are provided. For example, we have exceptionally strong programs in areas of interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, pulmonology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic and general surgery. Additionally, hospital provides medical and radiation oncology services and has extensive outreach programs.
The Community:
This area is the center of trade for a 50-mile radius. The area's educational opportunities are excellent with public and private schools. Also, the local campus of Missouri State University provides academic and vocational education programs which include a registered and practical nursing program plus a respiratory care school. The area has prospered as a result of its central location for trade-in southern Missouri as well as the growth of its educational and health services.
