Private GI Practice with Endoscopy Center
Brooklyn, NY
General Gastroenterologist
Established practice for over 15 years
The practicing is developing Bariatrics
Bariatrics is optional and they are willing to train
100% outpatient
Monday-Friday with only one weekend day per month
Ercp and eus are possible but not necessary
The practice has their own endoscopy center
The NP handles all the practice call now first
Usually never have problems
Plan is to split call
No hospital call
Partnership track
Separate option to buy into the endoscopy center
W2 permanent position - not locums
$400,000+ base plus production bonus
Paid malpractice
Prefer prior experience in private practice but not required.
Open to new grads.

Job Responsibilities
Develop treatment plans and ensure appropriate follow-up care
Monitor the progress of patients and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
Perform endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and sigmoidoscopies
Administer medications and treatments to patients
Educate patients and family members about the diagnosis and treatment process
Keep accurate and detailed patient medical records
Maintain a high level of patient confidentiality
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
Active state medical license
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
High level of professionalism and commitment to patient care
Working Hours
One weekend day per month
Skills
Proficiency with X-Rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Gastroenterologist
