UT Tyler School of Medicine - UT Health East Texas is growing and searching for a BC/BE Faculty Gastroenterologist/Hepatologist (General Outpatient/Inpatient) with significant hepatology interest, to join our thriving practice in beautiful Tyler, Texas.

UT Health East Texas is home to a Gastroenterology Fellowship program.

About our GI Job Opening:

  • Join a team of 6 Gastroenterologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
  • Rotating Call 1:6 (covering only one facility)
  • The outpatient clinic is conveniently located on the hospital campus
  • Onsite Lab/Procedure Rooms, 4 GI Suites at UT Health Tyler, and 3 GI Suites at the UT Health North Campus- ranked a “Top 123 Hospitals of 2023” for Teaching Hospitals- by The Leapfrog Group
  • Inpatient/Outpatient mix

About UT Tyler School of Medicine:

The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in The University of Texas System. Its mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas.

The school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia.
