Physician Network is seeking a Board Eligible/ Board Certified Gastroenterologist to meet the growing demand for gastroenterology in Michigan City, IN. Join a busy, established practice with 5 other physicians and multiple advanced practice providers. _x000D_

WHAT WE NEED:_x000D_
Ideal candidate will have ERCP experience, an interest in Hepatology and a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. Physician will need to work collaboratively with existing medical staff to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care._x000D_

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: _x000D_
Office Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m._x000D_
Physician Schedule: 3 - 4 half days in clinic, 3 - 4 half days in surgery, 1 full day off_x000D_
Physician Call 1:5 Physician takes 1 full week call (Friday 8:00 a.m. Friday 8:00 a.m.), no clinic during call week only hospital procedures and front-line call coverage_x000D_
Call Friday to Thursday, Rotating Holidays_x000D_
Average Patient Volumes: Half Day Clinic 12 15, Half Day Surgery 8 10_x000D_
Practice shares 3 RNs, dedicated MA support for every physician, 2 surgery schedulers in-house_x000D_
Outreach Required: Clinics in LaPorte, Chesterton, Valparaiso (all within 30 minutes commute)_x000D_
Potential Virtual Visits_x000D_
Shared collaboration between physician for APPs in group_x000D_
Hospital based Nurse Practitioner sees new consults and rounding ahead of physicians_x000D_
Clinic based Nurse Practitioner_x000D_
Strong mentorship available from senior physician leadership_x000D_
Strong referral base: On average 75 -100 per week for general GI_x000D_
In-Network Oncology Services offering full spectrum, wrap around services_x000D_
