Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, P.C. is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible fellowship trained advanced gastroenterologist to join its growing practice located in Northeast Georgia.

Gastroenterology Associates of Gainesville, P.C. is an independent practice that provides care and services to people living in Northeast Georgia and the surrounding areas. The organization was founded in 1981 and was the first clinic in Northeast Georgia to provide dedicated specialty care for digestive illness and disease. Since its foundation the organization has grown to be comprised of ten distinguished Gastroenterologist, fifteen advanced practice providers and a dedicated support staff. Salary Information:
$500,000.00 base salary
$50,000.00 call pay-based on 1:10 rotation
$50,000.00 sign on bonus
$10,000.00 relocation assistance

Job Responsibilities

This role will work collaboratively with all providers to provide complete, comprehensive clinical care for patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Clinical Care will include diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care for preventative and healthcare maintenance to patients. A candidate would be welcomed into an established group with an instant referral base and will perform the full spectrum of gastroenterology tests and procedures in addition to ERCP and EUS. This position may require travel to all of the locations in which the practice provides services, including but not limited to Braselton, Gainesville, Dawsonville, Clayton, and Habersham.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree
• Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy
• Doctor of Medicine license in the state of Georgia, by start date
• Board-Eligible/Board-Certified
• DEA License
• BLS and ACLS Certification
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Strong computer skills and EMR Knowledge (Epic, Allscripts, Ggastro)

Working Hours

The set clinic hours for the practice are Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am-12:00pm. While these are the set clinic hours during which the physician will be scheduled to see patients, the physician may have to come in earlier or work later to get the work completed.

In addition to clinic hours, this position will include a rotating schedule for procedure blocks at the Ambulatory Surgical Centers and local outpatient hospital blocks. This position is also part of a rotating schedule for night call, weekend, and holiday coverage for Northeast Georgia Medical Centers in Braselton and Gainesville. Coverage will be assigned on a rotating basis with the other physicians in the practice.
