JOB DESCRIPTION: Gastroenterologist Position

We are actively seeking a board eligible or board-certified Gastroenterologist to join their esteemed gastroenterology practice located in Washington, North Carolina.

Position Highlights:

• Part of a growing 9-hospital physician-led private not-for-profit healthcare system
• Opportunity available due to retirement
• Established practice with 1 experienced gastroenterologists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Procedures include general GI and advanced endoscopy cases (ERCP preferred-EUS optional)
• Experienced Advanced Practice Providers manage outpatient clinic flow
  
• Inpatient support provided by an experienced hospitalist team; GI team is a consult-only service with no direct admitting responsibilities
• Call duty: 10 days per month - no weekend or holiday call
• Teaching opportunities available in conjunction with the Brody School of Medicine in nearby Greenville, NC for the instruction of medical students, residents, and GI fellows

Compensation and Benefits:
