Schedule:
Coverage Dates: • March 10 at 7 a.m. to March 15 at 7 a.m.
• Inpatient Consultations along with ER Call Coverage
• We are Trauma Level 3 and actively seeking Trauma Level 2 Certification
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Call is for both assigned and unassigned patients
• Able to do complex procedures, i.e. ERCP;s
• We do not provide a beeper and/or cell phone. Our practice has been that we utilize physician’s cell phone #.
Requirements:
• Physician must be board certified and/or board eligible.
• Ability to do advanced procedures, i.e., ERCP procedures
• Will require ability to administer moderate sedation, as at times we do not have anesthesia readily available
o ACLS life safety certification
Scope of Service
• Emergency Room Call
• Inpatient Consultations
• Coverage for community physician’s in-house patients during scheduled coverage days as needed
• Hand-off communication to ER physician on-call and/or community physician when scheduled coverage days are completed
any prospective candidates “MUST” hold a current Texas License and DEA.
