Gastroenterologist - Queens, NY (New Grads Welcome)
Shift Schedule: 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and 7:00am-4:00pm 2 days per week
Office type: Outpatient Practice
Role Description:
This is a Full-time on-site role for a Gastroenterologist located in New York, NY. The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for diagnosis, treatment, and management of digestive system disorders. They will review patient health history, perform medical examinations, and conduct appropriate tests to evaluate the condition of a patient's digestive tract. Additionally, they will create and implement treatment plans, including medication and lifestyle changes, and perform endoscopic procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Active license to practice medicine in the state of New York
- Board certification or eligibility for certification in Gastroenterology
- Excellent communication skills, and able to effectively explain complex medical terms and procedures to patients
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with other physicians, nurses, and medical professionals
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Expertise in all relevant gastrointestinal procedures and equipment
- Willingness to continue education and stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements
