UT Health East Texas is seeking a BE/BC Advanced Endoscopy Trained Gastroenterologist to join its practice at UT Quitman (35 miles north of Tyler, TX) and UT Pittsburg, TX (55 miles north of Tyler, TX).
Your Work:
- Join 8 physicians, 14 advanced providers and support staff
- Supporting two rural Critical Access hospitals – 25 beds each
- Full-time employed position
- Both inpatient and outpatient services
- 20-30 patients expected per day
- Opportunity to work with residents
- Open to new graduates

About the Facilities:
Both UT Health Pittsburg (constructed 2009) and UT Health Quitman (constructed 2013) are each 25-bed critical access hospitals offering 24-hour emergency designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III Stroke Center; surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, sleep lab, and swing bed care to the communities they serve. Joint Commission Accredited, UT Health Pittsburg was recently named a "Top 123 Hospital of 2023" from The LeapFrog Group.
