General Gastroenterology Weekday Locums Job | Clinic + Surgeries Only | Central Illinois | 5-7 Week Days per Month | No Weekend or Weeknight Call

Jackson + Coker is partnered with a north/central Illinois hospital that is in need of GI weekday coverage (no nights or weekends of call) starting in August + ongoing through 2024. The facility has identified specific gaps of coverage that they need on a monthly basis starting in August and through the end of the year.

Dates of Coverage:
- All shifts are from 8A - 5P; no night or weekend call coverage needed
- You will be required to attend onsite orientation on a weekday prior to your scheduled start date (orientation is usually from 7:30A - 5P)

Description/Requirements for Assignment #95500:
* Active Illinois license and CSR required for this assignment + also open to physicians that are active with the IMLC
* Active Board Certification required (or true Eligibility)
* Daily duties will consist of clinic + scheduled procedures (these are done at the main hospital) Monday - Friday from 8A - 5P
* Surgery days end at 3:30 at the main hospital (if any additional surgeries are needed after this time, they are generally transferred to another location)
* Clinic patient base + volume: all adult patient population + geriatrics | Will see 15 - 18 PPD in clinic
* Surgical volume varies depending on the locums comfort level, procedure pace, etc.
* Required procedures: all general Gastro services, with the main procedures being colonoscopies, screenings and EGDs. No ERCP or EUS required.
* Facility detail: 40+ bed facility, Epic EMR, level 2 trauma center, central Illinois location
