Seeking an additional BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our Gastroenterology department in Peoria, IL.
- Inpatient consults and Inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology
- Annual consult volumes: Hospital 1-180, Hospital 2-228, Hospital 3-528
- Annual procedure volumes: Hospital 1-80, Hospital 2-124, Hospital 3-553
- Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation
- Full time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage
- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
- Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses
- EUS procedure, plus ERCP
- Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards
- Level II Trauma Center that has been ranked #23 in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination
