Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist with an IBD focus to join our Gastroenterology Department in Urbana, IL.
- Subspecialty interest in IBD required. Fellowship training in IBD is a plus
- All services for Gastroenterology and Colon-Rectal surgeons are provided seamlessly in our new, centrally-located, state-of-the-art 10-suite Digestive Health Center which includes exam rooms, preparation and recovery bays, procedural rooms and space for research
- Large volume practice able to support 100% IBD practice if desired
- Well-developed Interventional program

- Outpatient GI physicians cover 12 weeks of call throughout the year that is split amongst the group
- Enjoy individual clinical autonomy combined with the efficiency of a financially-sound and innovative multispecialty group practice
- Group participates in digestive clinical trials and is one of six facilities in IL to perform double balloon enteroscopies
- Two APPs dedicated to IBD as well as a nurse navigator
- Team of seven Gastroenterologists and seven APPs supporting outpatient elective practice
- GI Hospitalist service with two Gastroenterologists supported by five APPs managing the inpatient service
- Excellent and experienced nursing staff and dietitian onsite
- Established research program located on-site in the department with a dedicated research coordinator; current studies include research pertaining to Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease
- Strong support for IBD program includes dedicated GME events as well as IBD support group for patients
- Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation
