Gastroenterology Locums need in Knoxville TN.

  • We need on-going coverage
  • 3 days per work week
  • Two days for procedures; one day for clinic
  • Also will have call 10 days per month. With call, only anticipate having to come in for pt care maybe once per month (food bollus) otherwise, hospitalists admit and consult GI for next day visit.
  • Specialty Skills: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

    with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser)

    ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)

    With PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
    Esophageal dilatation/manometry
    Esophageal manometry interpretation
    Small Bowel biopsy
    Lower GI endoscopy
    Sigmoidoscopy
    Flexible
    Rigid
    Colonoscopy
    with biopsy
    with excision of polyp
    Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
    Liver biopsy
    Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
