Family Medicine opening in Vermont Located in Springfield, VT Full-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine doctor to join FQHC facility in VT.

  • 4-day work week (32h scheduled hours of patient care), all outpatient, practices cover appointments and walk-ins, attractive telephone only after-hours call schedule (approximately 2-3 call days monthly).
  • Competitive starting salary, with transition to all productivity based after 2 years.
Location: Springfield is a town in Windsor County, Vermont, United States. The population was 9,373 at the 2010 census. Springfield is located in the Southeastern part of Vermont, on the VT/NH border. There is no limit to outdoor recreation in the Springfield Region. From snowmobiling to fishing every type of outdoor enthusiast will be entertained in every season. For those looking for indoor recreation we have multiple locations to fit your needs. Whether you feel like swimming, yoga, spinning, dancing or working out at 3am we have a fitness studio to meet your needs. Springfield has a state craft center, art galleries, a movie theater and a play house that is celebrating its 93rd year of entertaining our region. Want to make art? There are art classes happening at different venues all year long. Public art has recently emerged on our buildings brightening our downtown and entertaining those who are passing through our streets. The medical center is a not-for-profit, community-based health care system that serves southeastern VT and southwestern NH. This unique model integrates 13 Federally Qualified Health Centers, including 2 Dental Clinics, 1 Vision Center, 4 School-based Health Center, and 1 Health and Recreation Center. Patient services and resources we offer include but are not limited to integrated Behavioral Health, Lifestyle Medicine, Rapid Access through Behavioral Health, Diabetes Education, Consultative Registered Dietitians, Care Coordination, and a Community Health Team that works to assist with housing and food insecurities, transportation barriers, as well as overall access to care barriers. Additionally our organization works collaboratively with Springfield Hospital to meet the health needs of our communities with additional referral specialists, ancillary support, Inpatient and Emergency Department access.
