Position Overview

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites applications for Family Medicine and Med-Peds physicians to join our expanding network of Walk-In Clinics in Nashville, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. We seek highly skilled clinicians committed to providing excellent patient-centered care and contributing to our vision of delivering top-notch healthcare services. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, integrity, and a commitment to patient care, teaching, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care in VUMC’s Walk-In Clinics, which offer urgent medical care for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
  • Engage in educational activities, including training and mentoring residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical settings.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic operations.

Qualifications

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine or Med-Peds.
  • Experience or interest in urgent care or outpatient medicine.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics provide convenient, high-quality care at 12 locations across Middle Tennessee, including Cheatham, Davidson, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties. Our clinics are open seven days a week with evening and weekend hours to fit your schedule. We offer a range of services, including treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, vaccinations, and preventive care. Our clinics are staffed by board-certified doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive care
