Cross Country Locums is looking for a Primary Care, Chief Medical Officer to help with a need in Montgomery, AL.
This opportunity is a Locums assignment, with the intention to go Locums to Perm.

Chief Medical Officer (CMO):
· The CMO serves as the principal medical provider for the organization and is responsible for the medical activities of all the clinical staff.
· The CMO is an active participant on the provider recruitment & retention of all medical providers at HSI.
· The final management approval of credentials for all clinical staff prior to submitting to the Board of Directors with recommendation for hire, resides with the CMO and/or CEO.
· The CMO is actively involved in all clinical aspects of the organization and serves on the Credentialing, Peer Review, Pharmacy, Risk Management and Quality Assurance committees.
· The Chief of Medicine, Pediatrics, the Dental Director, Director of Nursing, and the Quality Nurse report to the Chief Medical Officer.
· The CMO provides direct patient care 80 percent of their time
· 3 days seeing patients 2 days admin.
· Mon- Friday 8am - 5pm
· No Call
· All travel expenses covered
· Laid back - not a micro managed place
· Needs 3-5 yrs. experience min. as a CMO
· Clinical and Admin done in the same building – little or no travel required between 14 Locations (furthest location is 45 min form Montgomery, AL)
Perm:
· CME training bonus $2-3K – covers travel and 5 days off
· 10 Vacation days + Holidays
