Position Summary:

FAP provides additional income during your residency!

The U.S. Air Force offers the Financial Assistance Program (FAP) to help pay for your medical residency. You’ll receive a high-quality education, practice medicine without the bureaucracy and serve around the world in your chosen profession. Careers in this field include Family Practice Physician, Medicine, Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine.

The Financial Assistance Program offers:
  • $45,000 for each year.
  • Over $2,850 monthly stipends for living expenses.
After you complete your residency, you will serve one year of active-duty service for each year of financial assistance.
