**Primary Care-Medical Director Opening in NC**_x000D_ Rocky Mount, NC_x000D_ Full Time-Permanent Position_x000D_ Medical Director Position (Also staff positions available) _x000D_ _x000D_ We are currently recruiting for a qualified primary care physician that has the capacity and motivation to step in as Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer. _x000D_ _x000D_ **Position Purpose:**_x000D_ The Medical Director provides outreach patient services and primary direction for all medical_x000D_ aspects of the organization and serves as chief spokesperson for the organization on all medical_x000D_ matters. Position will participate in QI activities as needed._x000D_ _x000D_ **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**_x000D_ Conducts regular sampling and review of patient charts._x000D_ Develop, review and update FMC medical policies, procedures and protocols._x000D_ Supervise medical and mental health staff and services._x000D_ Manage the clinical aspects of the Quality Control and Medical Quality Assurance Plans_x000D_ which involves monitoring and evaluating the quality of care given by all medical personnel._x000D_ Ensure medical staff and health staff adheres to the credentialing review and privileging_x000D_ process._x000D_ Maintains and adequate, current clinical infrastructure to support the provision of_x000D_ appropriate patient care._x000D_ Responsible for orientation of new physicians and mental health staff._x000D_ Promote interdepartmental efficiency and communication among staff members._x000D_ Works with the Executive Director in promoting good public relations._x000D_ Attend regular meetings, seminars and training as assigned._x000D_ Maintains appropriate medical certification as required by the NC Medical Board._x000D_ _x000D_ **Qualifications:**_x000D_ Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine, Family Practice,_x000D_ Internal Medicine, OB/GYN and Pediatrics._x000D_ Must have knowledge in preferred completion of an approved residency training program in Family_x000D_ Practice or Internal Medicare._x000D_ _x000D_ Please Inquiry for more information.
