- Other Details: A Family Practice physician is needed for a 3-month contract (with potential extension) at a community health center, starting as soon as credentialed (within 4 weeks preferred). The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch, covering 40 hours per week. The provider will see newborn to geriatric patients, with an expectation of up to 18 patients per day, and must be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Duties include outpatient family medicine, acute care, chronic disease management, and basic procedures (injections, IUD placement, minor wound care). A dedicated medical assistant and support staff are provided. Candidates must have Board Certification, an active Washington license and DEA, a minimum of 2 years' face-to-face experience within the past year, a clean background, and be COVID and flu vaccinated. Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus.

Job Responsibilities
- Care for patients across all age groups, from newborns to geriatrics
- Manage acute care, chronic disease management, walk-in patients, and same-day appointments
- Perform basic procedures such as injections, IUD placement, and minor wound care
- Use EPIC for documentation and charting
- Participate in a 1-week onsite orientation and begin patient care by day 3
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated medical assistant, receptionist, and other support staff
Qualifications
- Active Washington State medical license required
- Active Washington DEA license required
- Minimum of 2 years of face-to-face patient care experience within the past year
- Clean background with no malpractice history
- Must be COVID-19 and flu vaccinated
- Spanish or Russian language skills are a plus
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA certified)
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch
- No call responsibilities
- 3-month contract with potential to extend
- Credentialing timeframe: 2–3 weeks
Skills
- Comfortable working with diverse, vulnerable populations including migrants and refugees
- Basic outpatient procedures competency (injections, IUD placement, minor wound care)
- Familiarity and proficiency with EPIC EMR
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
