We are seeking a skilled Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position at a Private Practice in Pennsylvania. This 60-day assignment begins on 05/12/2025, with potential for extension. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call responsibilities one day per week. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to high complexity patients
- Manage chronic illnesses and substance abuse issues
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with limited healthcare access
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using eClinicalWorks EMR
- Participate in on-call duties as scheduled
- Adhere to all practice protocols and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Stay updated on current family practice guidelines and procedures
- Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance and disease prevention
Additional Information:
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks EMR is required
- Experience in managing complex patients with multiple comorbidities is essential
