Locum Physician - Primary Care in Atlanta, GA

Join a dedicated healthcare team in a vibrant Atlanta clinic providing essential services to underserved populations. We are seeking a locum Physician to offer direct care to children and adults in a supportive environment focused on public service.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, primarily adults aged 18-65 and geriatric patients.
• Conduct medical chart and lab reviews, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety regulations.
• Consult and provide direction to clinic staff under the guidance of the Medical Director.
• Comfortably perform pelvic exams, pap smears, and employment physicals.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and compliance with health regulations.
• Work in a clinic environment with a focus on outpatient services.
• Manage a daily patient load of 10-12 patients.
• Familiarize oneself with electronic medical records using the Epic system.

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia medical license and DEA registration.
• Board Certified in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM).
• Graduation from a state-approved medical school specializing in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
• 5+ years of experience in practice following training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
• Experience treating medically underserved and immigrant populations is a strong plus.
• Experience in supervisory or administrative roles within healthcare settings is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:
