Locum - Family Medicine - MD/DO

Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physician

This role offers the chance to practice in a community health center that prioritizes patient-centered care. The center is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to start as soon as possible, catering to a diverse patient population.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Manage a patient schedule of 18 patients per day, with a mix of 70% pediatric and 30% adult cases.
• Ensure chart closure within 72 hours for all patient encounters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training.
• Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine.
• Active DEA prior to start date.
• Ability to provide CV with month & date on work experience, accounting for all employment gaps.
• Experience in outpatient settings is preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted medical license in California.
• Completion of required immunizations prior to the start date, including the 2022-2023 Flu Vaccine, TB status/X-ray results, MMR titer or immunization series, Hep B titer or immunization series, Varicella Zoster titer or immunization series, and Tdap immunization.
